Safety First

Prioritizing People & Protecting Every Project.

At Republic Waterproofing & Restoration, safety isn’t just a requirement—it’s a core value and a way of life. We take immense pride in our Corporate Safety Program and are committed to continuously improving our safety practices while delivering top-tier workmanship, unmatched customer service, and meeting or exceeding project schedules.

We firmly believe that every injury is preventable, and our unwavering goal is zero injuries. Safety isn’t just a checklist—it’s part of our culture. From company leadership to every member of our team, safety remains our highest priority and a shared responsibility.

Safety is a Journey, Not a Destination.

Our commitment to safety is ongoing. While we understand there’s always room for improvement, we’ve made significant progress since our founding and will continue to evolve to ensure a safe working environment on every project site.

Our safety program starts with a strong foundation of clear and accessible policies and procedures. But true safety goes beyond documentation—it lives in the daily habits and mindset of our team. We work hard to instill a deep, personal commitment to safety in every employee by demonstrating genuine concern for their health, well-being, and future.

Proactive, Preventive, & Practical.

We actively monitor job site hazards and industry trends to make informed adjustments that prevent injuries before they occur. For example, silica exposure is a major concern in restoration. We maintain a robust Site-Specific Silica Control Program to address exposure on every project.

Falls are another significant risk in our line of work. We’ve invested in mast climbing scaffolding systems that can be fully assembled and secured at ground level, reducing fall risk compared to traditional scaffolding. We also require all team members working at height to wear a safety harness and lanyard at all times, allowing for immediate tie-off without delay or excuse.

To prevent muscular and skeletal injuries, our Ergonomic Safety Program begins before hire. All candidates must complete a pre-hire physical assessment to ensure they’re capable of meeting the physical demands of their role. We also implement daily pre-shift stretching routines, evaluate site-specific lifting needs, and design scaffold systems with safety and ergonomics in mind.

Ongoing Training & Certification.

We ensure that both field leadership and team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills to work safely. Our Superintendents and Supervisors receive:
